Terms of Service | Scottsdale Mold Remediation Pros, AZ
By requesting an estimate, scheduling work, or allowing our crew on site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are acting for a property owner, tenant, HOA, or business, you confirm you have authority to approve work and accept charges.
Scottsdale Mold Remediation Pros provides mold remediation for homes and businesses in the Scottsdale, Arizona area, including residential mold remediation, black mold remediation, shower grout mold removal, bathroom mold removal, crawl space mold removal, attic mold removal, basement mold removal, emergency mold remediation, and commercial mold remediation. We do not perform services that are not listed on this site or not written into your estimate. Any repair, reconstruction, or cosmetic work is outside the scope unless specifically included in writing.
We provide a written estimate describing the work area(s), methods, materials, and pricing before work starts. The estimate controls what is included. If hidden conditions are found (for example, mold extending beyond the area that was visible during the initial visit), we will explain the change and provide a revised estimate or change order for approval before proceeding. Disposal fees, if any, will be listed on the estimate or invoice.
Prices are stated in the estimate or invoice and may include labor, materials, equipment, and disposal. Taxes and government fees, if applicable, are your responsibility. Some projects may require a deposit; if so, it will be stated on the estimate. Payment terms and accepted payment methods will be stated on your estimate or invoice or explained when you call. Past‑due balances may accrue a reasonable late charge as allowed by law and may be referred to collections.
We schedule work in arrival windows, which we give you when you call. Weather, access issues, and prior jobs can affect timing. You agree to provide safe, clear access to the workspace, including parking for service vehicles, and to ensure utilities needed for the job (electricity, water) are available. An adult with authority to approve changes must be reachable by phone while we are on site.
You are responsible for moving personal items, valuables, and fragile objects away from work areas unless the estimate states otherwise. We use common containment and control practices (such as plastic barriers, HEPA filtration, and negative air where appropriate) to help limit the spread of dust and spores. Despite care, remediation can produce noise, dust, odors, and discoloration of some materials. Cutting and removal of contaminated drywall, trim, insulation, grout, caulk, or other materials may be required to reach and remove mold as described in the estimate.
Mold work can involve irritants, cleaners, and airborne particles. Keep children, pets, and nonessential persons out of work areas. We are not medical professionals and do not provide medical advice. If you have health questions, consult a licensed healthcare provider.
Emergency mold remediation is scheduled by phone only. After‑hours or urgent work may carry different rates, which will be disclosed on your written estimate or invoice before work proceeds beyond initial stabilization.
Requests to add areas or services must be approved in writing and may change price and schedule. If we encounter conditions that make the job unsafe or outside the agreed scope, we may pause work and discuss options. If access is not available at the scheduled time, a reasonable trip or wait charge may apply, as stated on your estimate or invoice.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us as soon as possible. Any fees or deposit terms related to cancellation will be stated on your estimate or invoice. We may reschedule if conditions on site would prevent safe or proper work.
Unless your estimate states otherwise, we do not include: independent laboratory testing, third‑party inspections, building permits, reconstruction, painting, retiling, regrouting beyond localized removal needed for mold remediation, contents cleaning outside the work area, or storage. If these are needed, we will note them and you may arrange them.
We may take site photos before, during, and after work for documentation, training, or quality control. Photos focus on building conditions and work areas, not people. We may share project documentation with you, your property manager, or your insurer upon request. We do not publish identifying details of a private residence or business without your consent.
We stand behind our workmanship as described in your estimate or invoice. Because future moisture conditions are outside our control, we do not warrant against future mold growth after we complete the agreed work. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific job giving rise to the claim. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages such as loss of use, loss of rent, loss of business, or diminished value.
Content on our website is general information and may not reflect the conditions at your property. It is not technical, legal, or medical advice. Estimates and invoices control over any website description or example.
If you hire or require third parties (for example, a plumber, roofer, or independent inspector), you are responsible for their scheduling, costs, and performance unless our estimate states we will coordinate them. We are not responsible for delays or defects caused by third parties.
If you are a commercial client, any purchase order terms that conflict with these Terms of Service are rejected unless we sign a separate agreement. Site rules and safety requirements must be provided in advance. Work logs or access badges required by your facility should be arranged before our arrival.
Contaminated materials removed from your property become our responsibility only when loaded onto our vehicle. Title to all other materials remains with you. If you wish to retain any removed item, tell the crew before removal begins.
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, utility outages, accidents, road closures, supply interruptions, or other causes outside our control.
Please call us to discuss any concern. We will work with you to review the estimate, the work performed, and available options. These Terms and any dispute relating to our services are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Venue and jurisdiction lie in the state courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
